The Canadian province of New Brunswick and the other Maritime Provinces are concerned about the continuity of global supply chains that pass through New Brunswick, the Maritimes, the northeastern United States and the rest of Canada. Having successfully won a Canadian safety and security program project in 2013, the New Brunswick Department of Public Safety required a RiskLogik model of supply chains in the Maritime Provinces to support research being conducted by the Conference Board of Canada, Dalhousie University and the University of New Brunswick. This model will become New Brunswick’s reference for critical supply chain decision-making and also serve as the platform for the province’s subsequent critical infrastructure risk and resilience model. The project will be completed in the last quarter of 2014.
