Most of Canada’s critical infrastructure is owned and operated by private sector enterprises, however the responsibility for the safety and security of the people and businesses that depend on this infrastructure rests with governments at various levels. In order for governments to carry out their mandate they need comprehensive critical infrastructure resilience models such as the one constructed by the Government of Ontario. In order to secure the cooperation of private sector service providers, it is necessary for government agencies to guarantee the protection of proprietary information within a model. In partnership with Planet Works of Vancouver, British Columbia, and the Province of Saskatchewan, RiskLogik is part of a project to develop a critical infrastructure resilience model that can be shared by private sector operators, while preserving proprietary information. The project will be complete in the fourth quarter of 2015.
